Obituary for Dennis Charles Dransfield

Dennis Charles Dransfield, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick.

Dennis was born in Paterson and raised in Riverdale. He lived in Wayne, Pompton Plains and various cities before settling in Brick 23 years ago. Dennis loved sports and enjoyed fishing. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his cherished family.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Mary Dransfield and his brother, Daniel Dransfield III.

Surviving are his loving children- Jaime Alfano and husband Peter of Toms River, Alyssa Dransfield and her partner, Kevin Hudson of Brick; grandchildren Brayden and Gemma; sister, Eva Willever and her husband, Allen, of Ringwood; sister-in-law Joan Dransfield; former wife, Fran Dransfield-Horn; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In accordance to his wishes, a private cremation took place. A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 4-8PM. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 7:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dave Thomas Adoption Foundation, 1328, 716 Mt. Airyshire Blvd. #100, Columbus, OH 43235.
