Richard Edward Wenger, age 66, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at his home in Point Pleasant. Born and raised in Orange, Richard has resided in Point Pleasant for the last 15 years.

Mr. Wenger worked as an Attorney for Hedinger & Lawless, LLC. for many years.

Richard loved boating and going on vacations, but his greatest joy was spending time with his beloved wife, Martina. They enjoyed many glorious adventures with friends and family and lived life to the fullest. His greatest saying was Y.O.L.O. Richard also loved food and dining out at different restaurants with family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of five years, Martina Wenger; his son, Matthew and wife, Katie; his two grandsons, Jack and Teddy; his step-daughters, Kaila and Kyanne Shubak. He is also survived by his brothers, Wendell, Donald and his wife, Beverly; Stephen and his wife, Cindy, Larry and his wife, Jean. Also, his cousins, especially, Maria and nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 1-4 p.m. p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. Cremation is private.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering in Richard’s honor.
