Kevin did not lose this battle. He did not give up. He did not tap out. He fought harder and stronger than most other people could ever dream of fighting. He loved hard, worked hard, played hard, and fought cancer hard. With hundreds of tumors from his tailbone to his brain and everywhere in between he continued to fight with all that he had within him until that beautiful moment when I held him, telling him to go to sleep and get some rest. This beautiful, strong, prideful warrior looked at me with the most loving expression and moved on to his next adventure. He decided that he could do so much more without the limitations that his body presented him with. I'll miss you, Lovey. Thank you so much for being the amazing husband that you were, and the great friend that many knew. Rest well, my love. You've earned it.
