Obituary for James T Mack
James T. Mack, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born and raised in Brooklyn, James has resided in Brick for the last 25 years.
Mr. Mack proudly served in the United States Army. After his return home, James became a banker, working for Citibank for many years.
James was a communicant of St. Martha’s RC Church, Point Pleasant. He was an avid New York Mets fan and also enjoyed writing. His greatest joy was spending time with his loving family.
He is predeceased by his brother, Robert Mack and his sister, Doris McGreevey.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 56 years, Florence Mack; his son, James H. Mack; his grandsons, James and Nicholas Mack; and many other loving family members.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, July 17th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Martha’s RC Church, Point Pleasant followed by the interment at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
